Small Things That Make A Big DifferenceThere was a man taking a morning walk at the beach. He saw that along with the morning tide came hundreds of starfish and when the tide receded, they were left behind and with the morning sun they would die. The tide was fresh and the starfish were alive. The man took a few steps, picked one and threw it into the water. He went to the next and did the same and so no. One after the other he kept throwing them back into the water.
What difference are we making? Big or small, it does not matter. If everyone made a small difference, we’d end up with a big difference, wouldn’t we? I read it somewhere so decided to share it here as it has a great moral lesson and we all have to put our believe in it that small act of goodness can make a great difference in our lives.Being a left hander....The problems that I faced being a left hander are numerous and in the same time, quite amusing and irritating. It irritates me a lot when in a gathering people stare at me all the time and ask stupid questions like that one "WHY you're a lefty" :D (silly question). By the way, its a thought provoking question, Why I am a lefty? Don't know exactly how to reply? I can't convince everyone so better to smile all the time. Writing on the chairs with a writing board on right arm is a very pathetic thing to do and right arm chairs for rgiht hand fellows are everywhere in schools, colleges and even at universities. I have to adjust my position and turn my self to the right side so that I can write proper But by doing it my back and my left hand hurt like hell after writing on a paper but who cares? Also by doing it, teachers always doubt that I am cheating and its my way of cheating.(poor me) But in some colleges and universities, there are also left arm chairs for left handers. Bless them. And another problem that I faced was while using a scissors with my right hand. Its a terrible thing to do but with a regular use and trying to my best, at last I have mastered the art of using a scissors meant for righties. Its happens all the time while sitting with a right hand fellow I have to be very careful because our elbows can clash with each other and can disturb our work all the same. While working with a fork and knife is difficult thing to do with your right hand and i swear, i cut myself so many time! Ok, these are some of the problems that I faced being a left hander but I am proud of being what I am. Culture is the way of Life"Today, I will share my excitement for life with other people. I'll make someone smile. I'll go out of my way to perform an unexpected act of kindness for someone I don't even know. I want to live for life, I want to live for my culture. I admit that I am not a patriotic person or I still love this country, I even dont know but yesh I am devoted enough to know the culture and traditions of Pakistan as much as I can and want to preserve it and I can do anything for such a good cause. In my point of view the most critical issue of Pakistan is THE CULTURE. It is the way to live the life. We are here on the way to forget the culture and philosophy that was framed by our ancestors over thousands of years..... Today, we are living in a so called modern world and all we are doing is to formulate our own ways of life and philosophies thinking that they are the best. Todays education never teach how to live the life fair, but it does teach only how to make money as the final outcome. It is true that culture is difficult to quantify, because it frequently exists at an unconscious level, or at least tends to be so pervasive that it escapes everyday thought and that is why culture is a set of patterns of human activities within a society. Live for culture because its our way of life and one can really enjoy the life only with rich thoughts of philosophy and matured culture." Me and My InterestsWho knows what we are, what we feel? who knows even at the moment of intimacy, even at the moment of friendship. This is knowledge? And who knows even if our being is like a mortal vase of dust, who knows, who cares? I am mania is just a nick of me, dont take it so seriously, I am not suffering from any bipolar disorder.I am a girl much passionate about my things and want to do something constructive.I take less interest in politics thingi but I am a cultural person and want to do something for promoting culture and traditions of my country. I hate favourtism, so beware of me ,I can be rude. My favourite song is "kissay da yaar na vichrey" thats my all time favourite song. I like to define things, I am most interested in causes like what created the situation rather what was the result of the situation?, I like to observe and watch the varied faces of life, Regarding most topics,I consider myself moderate, I like taking interest in Culture, sufism, Trees, Traditions, Philosophy, Society, mythology, psychology, Anthropology, Ideas and Concepts are always appeal to me.
